It's very helpful tip... Grazie again And by the way... those Defenders probably have 2,0 Mpi engine which we knows here in Poland as misunderstanding for such car. Are there any other modifications (in transmision, chasis etc.) in such way to lower standard? Or maybe such engine is enough?

jdef, i think that is better that u buy the spares u need in england instead italy! is a trouble to find a carabinieri's 90 or, if u find some body spares, is difficult to ship them! english shops like http://www.paddockspares.com/ http://www.mm-4x4.com/Shop/index.htm http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/ and all the other u can find searching with google. remember that all the italian shops buy their spares in england! i think is better also if u try to search used parts...english prices are lower! there more and more land than in italy! duilio Def 90 Td5 "MASTODONDICK" Mamma LAND fa le pentole, il nano i coperchi!

Grazie Duilio, I know all of them, I'm also looking for parts at ebay.co.uk and have expirience in shipping. But thank you for information about italian shops. The doors push-up type lock, are very expencive there.

Jdef90...in your place i would make it like Duilio explane, because all'the spares are imported from G.B and the little quantities of S/H spares available here are soon gone away from the local landy users... Ciao Philip

!! u're in wrong! is difficult also for us to find used body spares! philip say that the old lands' spares don't came in internet forums!! a lot of them are selled by local people to other local...and the prices of good used spares aren't so lower than english new ones!! try to check periodically this forum and this other "mercatino" (little shops): http://www.fuoristrada.it/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.cgi. good luck, duilio Def 90 Td5 "MASTODONDICK" Mamma LAND fa le pentole, il nano i coperchi!

jdef90, i d'ont think so, if i want to compete ,i d'ont whright for you. Just now i have "exported" more than "imported" You have to now that in Italy the prices of S/H are more expensive than in my country just now. But if you try, in GB it have different shop whit also used spares....and not expensive...but doors in good condition are expensive everywere now in internet time's the world is small, and people(spare breakers) now the worth of new spares... Thank you for your help philip and duilio I understand the landmaniacs market conditions In Polnad the situation is more complicated, becouse here few years ago was only a few private Defenders and only a few police and other services cars. there is no used spares for defenders. So have to look all Europe. I'll be watching www.fuoristrada.it But going back to those Carabinieri defenders for 150 EUR posted by andreap. As I understood it is an auction and I have to bid for a whole lot (defenders + other fiats and alfa), am I right?

u have to came in italy and u can only see the cars' body, without running the engine! if u need all the land, left it! if u need only body spares...maybe u can came in italy! but i continue to think that is better to buy it in GB. u are really sure of what u buy!
